Merge Polygon tool

Used to merge two selected polygons into one polygon. If the polygons have properties then the first selected polygon will be the polygon to retain the properties. The annotation from the first selected polygon (the one retaining the properties) will remain. The annotation for the merged polygon will be deleted.

Note: If a merge rule is defined in the feature definition, then that rule will be applied when setting the new polygons properties. See the Bentley Geospatial Administrator section of this help for details.

Polygons to be merged must:

Be of the same feature type.
Have one edge that is collinear.
